Privacy Policy

This page explains how Freshmii separates normal website delivery from the browser-local processing that keeps the files and text you clean on your own device.

Freshmii serves site assets through Cloudflare, runs its tools locally in your browser, and documents browser storage, logs, Cloudflare Web Analytics, Google Search Console, and third-party services transparently.

Site delivery and processing model

Freshmii is a static-first website hosted through Cloudflare. Pages and assets are served normally from Cloudflare hosting/CDN infrastructure.

When you use a tool, your files and data are processed in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. The tool's input (a pasted prompt, an image, a screenshot, a PDF, the strings you type as redaction labels) is not transmitted to a Freshmii processing server, uploaded to a third-party conversion API, or sent by Freshmii to an AI provider.

Freshmii does not receive copies of the content you process — the files or text you input, the cleaned files it generates, OCR text, metadata review results, redaction rectangles, replacement labels, or the downloaded output created in your browser.

The tools do not rely on hidden upload fallbacks. If a tool cannot complete a job locally it returns an error rather than falling back to a server.

Browser storage we use

Some tools save small UI preferences to your browser's localStorage so they persist between visits on this device. Freshmii uses them only as local on-device preferences and does not transmit them as part of tool processing. As of the current release the following keys exist: freshmii:ai-prompt-privacy-checker:custom-labels:v1 for custom redaction labels and freshmii:ai-text-cleaner:options:v1 for AI Text Cleaner checkbox preferences.

You can clear these at any time from your browser's site-data settings, or by clicking Reset inside the relevant tool. Clearing them restores the default UI.

The tools themselves do not need tracking cookies to process private input.

Advertising, sponsorships, and affiliate links

Freshmii does not use ad networks, ad personalization scripts, or ad-measurement cookies.

Freshmii may include clearly labeled sponsorships, affiliate links, or partner references on editorial, resource, or product-information pages. These commercial relationships must be kept separate from the tools and must not be used to read, upload, or inspect the content you process.

Sponsored or affiliate relationships do not change how tool results are generated and should not be placed inside the private processing workspace of a tool.

Data retention and operational logs

Freshmii may store standard website logs such as request timestamps, user-agent strings, and coarse diagnostics for security and reliability.

We do not claim zero logging for normal website delivery traffic.

The browser-local tools do not upload your files or pasted text to a Freshmii conversion API.

Third-party services

Freshmii uses Cloudflare for hosting/CDN and Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate page-performance and visitor-experience signals.

Freshmii uses Google Search Console for aggregate Google Search visibility, indexing, query, impression, click, CTR, and page-performance reports.

Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google Search Console are used to improve site performance, crawlability, and content quality. They are not used to read, upload, or inspect the files or text you process in a tool.

Those providers may process technical request metadata according to their own policies and applicable laws.

The only optional external request a tool makes with content from your file is GPS reverse-geocoding in Metadata Inspector, which sends latitude and longitude coordinates to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service. Only the coordinates are sent in that request; the file itself is not sent.

If Freshmii later adds a newsletter, sponsor-tracking link, affiliate platform, or other third-party service, this policy should be updated before or at rollout.

Limits of browser-local privacy

Browser-local processing means Freshmii does not upload your files or text for processing, but it does not control your browser, device, network, operating system, extensions, malware, screen recording tools, clipboard tools, or anything you choose to upload elsewhere after using Freshmii.

If your browser, device, workplace software, or another extension records page activity, Freshmii cannot prevent that recording.

After you download, copy, paste, or upload a cleaned file or cleaned text to another service, that service's own privacy and retention rules apply.

Your rights

Because the tools process your content in your browser, Freshmii generally does not receive that content and cannot retrieve, export, correct, or delete it from a server.

For website logs, Cloudflare analytics, Search Console data, and any analytics data that may be collected during normal site delivery, requests to exercise data-protection rights can be sent through the Contact page.

We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
